DIVINE MERCY PARISH

386 Hancock Street • Quincy, MA 02171

In the fall of 2009, Sacred Heart Parish conducted its very first Dine Around, and it has been a very successful event every year since.

What is a Dine Around?
It's a fun-filled evening, geared for adults who enjoy the adventure of mystery dining in a relaxed home atmosphere hosted by several parishioners. Registration forms are filled in by participants in advance, listing any particular food allergies, dislikes, dining companions to be paired with, and any physical limitations. Diners will be assigned to host homes, based on the submitted criteria. On Dine Around night, diners won’t know where they're dining, or what they'll be served until they meet just prior to the dinner hour when they receive their assignments and traveling directions.

What happens at Dine-Around?

  • All participants meet at Sacred Heart Parish's rectory conference room at 5pm for small appetizers, conversation, and to receive an envelope with the host home address and directions.
  • Each host home will announce the menu once guests have arrived. Dinner is served from 6 to 8pm and includes everything except dessert.
  • All participants travel back to the parish cafeteria for desserts and informal conversation at 8:30pm.
  • The cost is a non-refundable donation of $15 per person, paid in advance with the registration form, available here.
